Fulfillment is yours

You’ve waited long enough. This is the day to take action.

The excuses are quite reasonable and understandable, and yet they have brought no value to your life. Let go of those comfortable excuses, and step forward into the bright, direct light of achievement.

The hours in this day will quickly pass no matter what you choose to do with them. So you might as well make full use of them to create meaningful value.

If you’re not sure what to do, take a moment and reach deep inside. Remind yourself of the things that mean the most, and do what truly strengthens and supports those things.

If the disruptions and distractions erode your focus, reach inside again. Commit yourself with your actions, over and over, to live true to your highest vision.

This is your life and today is your opportunity to make a difference. Get busy, because fulfillment is now yours to create.

Be Motivated ... So Do!

{ Friday, August 26, 2011 }

So do

You may not be able to get it perfect. Yet you absolutely are able to get it done, so do.

It may not be the most enjoyable or exciting way to spend your time. Still, it is what you must get done, so do.

It’s very possible that some people will criticize you for it, or even oppose your efforts. However, it is truly important to you that you make it happen, so do.

There may be a hundred perfectly reasonable excuses, and a thousand compelling distractions as well. Yet when you have a meaningful reason to make it happen, that trumps every excuse.

You may get weary and discouraged, and in your discouragement you might convince yourself that the effort is not worth the trouble. Rest for a little while, reconnect with your original purpose, then take a deep breath and keep on going.

You are absolutely capable of doing the work, and absolutely worthy of the achievement it will bring. Whatever may come, you can make the effort to make a difference, so do.

Thought of the Day...

Thought of the Day:
Some people talk about finding God, as if He could get lost.

Be Motivated ... Choose Your Dreams!

{ }

Choose your dreams

Any choice you make is a turn your life takes in one direction or another. Getting where you want to go is a matter of making each and every choice with that in mind.

Letting go of a negative, destructive habit happens by making one positive, empowering choice at a time. Creating a desired achievement comes about in the same way, one intentional, effective choice at a time.

Every choice matters, and every choice either changes or reaffirms a particular direction. That is what gives you great control over the way your life unfolds.

If it is opportunity you seek, stop looking for it and start paying more attention to the choices you make. Every one of them is a real, practical and influential opportunity for you to move toward your most desired outcomes.

In every minute, in any situation, you can continue bringing your most treasured dreams to life through the choices you make. As time moves forward, great and meaningful value arises from choices intentionally made in a consistent direction.

In matters large, small, and in between, there are always choices to be made. Make the choice, each chance you get, to choose your dreams.

Motivational . . .Divine Delay

{ Tuesday, July 13, 2010 }
"You may be experiencing a divine delay --- waiting on a job, a business sale, escrow to close on your new home, a contract, completing college, love and happiness, health restored, weight loss, a new relationship, family drama to cease or waiting for your heart to heal from depression, loss and grief.

Do you feel like you have been in "God's waiting room" too long?  Don't give up.  Your name is about to be called.  You're next in line for a breakthrough.  In the meantime, live each day with patience, prayer, perseverance, hope, humility, love and gratitude trusting God.  Your name is about to be called!   Impatience, fear and frustration will cause you to give up.  A defeated mind surely guarantees you to miss your opportunity and blessings. ~ by Jewel Diamond Taylor

Be Motivated . . .

{ Monday, July 12, 2010 }
" . . . we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ
. . ." - II Corinthians 10:5 (NASB)

If you're trying to overcome a particular habit, learn to recognize
your "triggers".  Become aware of what's going on around you and
within you when you're tempted.  Every action begins as a thought.

Before you surrender in reality, you first surrender in your mind.
That's why Paul says we should be found "taking every thought captive
to the obedience of Christ."  If you struggle with alcohol, eating in
or near a bar probably isn't going to help you win that fight.  If you
struggle with pornography, lingering around newsstands or bringing it
into your home via the Internet means you're going to continue to have
that issue.  If living habit-free is a serious commitment, plan your
life around that commitment!

As long as you entertain the idea that you can break the habit in your
own strength, nothing will change.  If you could, you'd have done it by
now, right?  Furthermore, as long as you're operating in willpower
alone, you won't experience God's power.  It takes humility to
acknowledge defeat then turn to God.  But unless you do, you'll get
nowhere.  Jesus said, "As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless
it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.  I
am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him,
he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." (John
15:4-5)  You must come to the place where you make a conscious
decision each day, and sometimes each hour, to turn your life and will
completely over to God.

When you're in the throes of battle, here's a prayer to consider:
"Lord, I don't have the ability to overcome this, but I choose not to
give in. Strengthen me now by Your Holy Spirit."  That's the kind of
prayer God will answer!  Why?  Because as our Heavenly Father, He loves
to empower our choices when they line up with His will!

Motivational . . . Forgive

{ Thursday, June 3, 2010 }
Forgive
Through forgiveness, I am free to live a full and joyful life.
If in the course of my day I accumulate resentments, it is like picking up rocks and putting them in my pocket. If I collect the rocks and hold on to them day after day, month after month, I feel the burden grow. When I refuse to let resentments go, I am weighed down by the hurt and anger I carry.

Forgiveness means looking beyond behaviors. Without condoning hurtful actions, I accept that each of us is doing the best we can in that moment. The truth is that we are all children of God and nothing can diminish or change that. As I release the belief that I can lose my good or lose my power, I let go of the negativity weighing me down and I forgive. Freed of resentment, I am ready to love others, to laugh and to live joyfully.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone.--Mark 11:25
